Webinar: Certificering van carbon credits in de Regeling Stimulering Vezelteelt

Dinsdag 16 december 16:00-17:00 Goed nieuws! De Regeling Stimulering Vezelteelt (RSV) gaat eind november opnieuw open. Good news! The Regeling Stimulering Vezelteelt (RSV) reopens at the end of November. The RSV of the Ministry of LVVN is implemented by the Nationaal Groenfonds and offers financial support to farmers and processors who grow or process fibre crops into biobased building materials.

These crops – such as hemp, flax, willow and miscanthus – capture CO₂ during growth, which is then stored long-term in building applications. This way the scheme contributes to climate goals and to a biobased, circular economy.

Within the scheme, certification of carbon sequestration plays a central role. Through this process, farmers and processors can demonstrate how much CO₂ is actually stored and receive funding for it to invest in the transition from conventional crops to fibre crops or the establishment of processing facilities.

On Tuesday 16 December 16:00-17:00, ONCRA, an innovative Dutch certification body for carbon sequestration with biobased materials, is organising a webinar. During the session we provide a clear overview of the certification process, the costs and the revenues; for both farmers and processors. This information session is intended for farmers and processors active in the fibre crop chain. In one hour you get a clear overview of the process, including space for questions.

🔹 Programme

  • 10 min – Introduction to the scheme
  • 15 min – Carbon sequestration certification at farm level
  • 15 min – Carbon sequestration certification for processors
  • 20 min – Q&A

The webinar will be recorded and shared with participants afterwards.
