Profile

We are looking for a highly climate-ambitious person to bring structure, clarity and CRCF-aligned professionalism to all core methodology related processes within Oncra.

Oncra.org is a nature-based carbon removal certification service and financing platform built to align fully with the EU Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF). It provides a standard and automated system for quantification, certification and registration of carbon removal projects of any size. Oncra empowers farmers, builders and innovators to access carbon removal markets and scale regenerative climate solutions.

You will coordinate and optimise workflows across the organisation, ensuring that Oncra’s operations, standards and platform design fully align with the EU Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF), ICROA, and ICVCM.

Supported by Oncra team, management, the Climate Cleanup board, and working closely with the team and network, you translate strategy and regulatory requirements into practical processes. You love regulatory red tape and thrive with structure and structural simplification. You are responsible for mapping, improving and implementing procedures that enable Oncra to scale as the global leader in nature-based carbon removal accounting.

Your role is central to ensuring quality, compliance, transparency and operational excellence as Oncra develops into the “Uber of carbon removal accounting.”

Vision: Empowering Nature-Based Carbon Removal

In five years, Oncra will be the global leader in financing nature-based carbon removal solutions in the voluntary market. Our vision is to revolutionise the market by becoming the “Uber of carbon removal accounting.” We will provide a seamless process and standard, based on the EU carbon removal regulation (CRCF), that connects entrepreneurs and organisations of all sizes with the financial resources they need to scale effective carbon removal projects.

From small-scale farmers managing a single hectare to large-scale builders and innovators, Oncra will enable access to carbon removal markets and policies. For construction sector actors, Oncra will enable the swift transition from concrete to biobased building. Oncra further enables innovators in enhanced rock weathering and ocean-based blue carbon innovations. Our rigorous, efficient, and highly automated processes will set the industry standard, making it easier than ever to participate. By facilitating the valorisation of nature-based solutions, Oncra will play a pivotal role in shifting resources from fossil fuel-based systems to regenerative practices. Through these efforts, we will catalyse a global movement creating a sustainable and resilient future for all.
