The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Volunteer Fundraiser to support our ecological restoration initiatives. This critical role will focus on securing financial resources to scale our impact and expand our conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support restoration projects.
- Identify and engage potential donors, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Write compelling grant proposals and funding applications.
- Organize and manage online fundraising campaigns (e.g., crowdfunding, social media initiatives).
- Maintain donor relationships through regular communication and updates on project progress.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong communication and writing skills: Ability to articulate our mission persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Experience in fundraising or grant writing (preferred): Familiarity with donor engagement and proposal processes.
- Passion for environmental conservation: Commitment to advancing biodiversity and ecosystem restoration.
- Self-motivation and independence: Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in digital tools: Familiarity with online platforms, email campaigns, and social media.
Time Commitment
- Flexible hours: Minimum of one day per week, depending on availability and personal goals.
- Remote opportunity: Work from anywhere while supporting restoration efforts in the Yucatán Peninsula.
